Hair rollers are typically round tubes of varying sizes used to curl and volumize your Indian human hair wigs. It can be used on all hair types to achieve a variety of styles ranging from large and beautiful curls to loose beach waves. If you haven’t tried using hot rollers yet, read this article to learn how to use hot rollers on Indian human hair wigs to achieve big, modern, dreamy, voluminous waves.
Hot rollers are available in various sizes; smaller rollers produce tight curls, while larger rollers produce smooth beachy curls. Hot rollers aid in adding volume to your roots, keep your strands shiny and smooth and provide you with curls that will last for nearly a week (depending on your hair type, of course).
As a result, they are the best option for people with straight or curly hair who want full-bodied curls.
How to Apply Hot Rollers
See this tutorial on using hot rollers on long Indian human hair wigs.
Step 1: Preparing Your Hair
Unlike previous wet sets, you must start with dry hair before applying hot rollers. Because any moisture in your strands or oil at the scalp will sizzle and fry your hair once the roller’s heat is applied to it. Don’t use a hot roller in dripping wet hair, as it takes time to create curls.
As a result, after washing and detangling your hair, apply a heat protectant to your Indian human hair wigs for added security, and then blow-dry your hair on a low heat setting. Hot rollers, while less damaging to hair than curling irons, are still a form of heat styling.
Step 2: Warm Up Your Rollers
Allow your hot rollers to heat up after plugging them in. Different brands will take different amounts of time to heat up, so read the instructions to determine how long they’ll take.
Step 3: Divide Your Hair
To make styling your virgin Indian hair easier, section it according to your desired parting.
While the rollers heat up, use your comb to divide dry hair into four large sections and clip these sections—one over each ear, one in the back, and one on top. Then, divide the four large sections into three sections, each about one and a half inches wide, and secure each with sectioning clips.
Make sure that each section of hair you grab for a roller is the same thickness as the width of your roller during this process. Avoid taking a large section of the hair as your curl will fall in the end, just like a curling iron.
Step 4: Apply A Hot Roller To Your Hair
Pull the section closest to your hairline straight up and spritz it with hairspray to help hold your curls, protect against humidity, and fight frizz for 24 hours.
The next step is to insert a roller a few inches from the ends of the hair. Leave the ends and begin rolling your hair away from your face while keeping it taut. Finally, secure the roller with the clip.
Step 5: Curl All Of Your Hair With Hot Rollers
Step 4 should be repeated: First, curl the top sections with two or more rollers to keep them rolling away from your face. Then, in the middle of one of the side sections, make a horizontal part and roll the top and bottom under. Then, divide the back into three 1.5-inch sections and roll each under. Finally, divide and relocate the remaining side.
- Not only is roller placement important, but you can also create different looks by rolling your locks in different directions.
- First and foremost, try to arrange rollers according to size. For long, cascading waves, use medium rollers around the face and larger rollers down the center section of the head towards the crown where you want the most volume.
- Rolling your hair away will give you that wind-blown look you’re after. Rolling horizontally for major volume or vertically for a loose tousled effect is an option.
- Remember to use the same-sized rollers around the head and in the same direction for soft, glamorous curls.
- If you want to add some variety, change the size of your rollers and the direction you place them.
- Be careful as you roll up each section of hair.
6. Allow The Heated Rollers To Cool
Once your hair is prepped and pinned, leave your rollers in place until they cool completely. It usually takes between 20 and 30 minutes. While you wait, spritz on hairspray, texturizing spray, or a dry-oil mist to lock in the curls (depending on your hair’s specific needs). Please do not remove your rollers until they have completely cooled, or your curls will lose their shape and become flat!
Step 7: Remove Hair Rollers
When your rollers have completely cooled, remove them one at a time, allowing the curls to fall loose.
Step 8: Curl Your Hair
After removing all of them, gently run your fingers through the curls to separate them and create a more beach-inspired look. Alternatively, you can create soft, glamorous waves with a hairbrush. To avoid destroying the waves, be gentle! You can use this technique on every hair pieces of women to achieve attractive curls that last throughout the day. Have an amazing hairstyle and flex them.
